Creative Day Adventure

​Today we made our marks with pride--
Lines and dots that danced and tied,
Circles spun in joyful play,
Our curious hands led the way.

We stacked up high, we rolled around,
We tumbled softly to the ground.
We tested thoughts, both big and small,
And dared to question, grasp it all.

We climbed to see the world anew,
Rang the bells that sang right through.
We laughed aloud, without a care,
The sunshine golden in our hair.

A day of wonder, wide and bright--
A journey lit with pure delight.

It was so exciting to spot a woodpecker in the tree today!
​We paused to watch as it tapped away at the bark, its bright feathers flashing between the branches. The rhythmic sound of its pecking echoed through the quiet, adding a little thrill to our morning. Seeing it up close felt like a special gift from nature, curious, surprising, and full of wonder.
